We are so blessed to have Ella Noah Bancroft as our guest speaker for our last Soma Sunday of the year.

Indigenous change-maker, artist, storyteller, mentor and founder of “The Returning” and Yhi Collective, Ella Noah Bancroft is active advocate for The Decolonisation movement. She is a widely respected amongst her community and believes in local communities with local economies as a way to find hope for the health of our planet and people.
Ella's perspective on the world is unique and she offers insightful perspectives into how each individual can create wholeness and connection in life. She believes that by making small movements, we can reconnect back with our wisdom, each other and the land. This will help us fight back against social and environmental crises.

The day will start in the Soma dome with a 60minutes group meditation and breath work session with Gary Gorrow, followed by a deep conversation with with Ella Noah Bancroft exploring the gift of time, life and true connection.

 

Sunset time at the main house to enjoy a communal wholesome and nourishing dinner, sweets from Locolove, kombucha by Bucha of Byron, live music by Adam Harpaz and bon fire conversations.

Ella Noah Bancroft

Ella a descendent of the peoples of the Bundjalung nation and has bloodlines to England, Poland and Scotland.

Through her writing and work Ella has been promoting re-wilding, the rise of the female energy, as way back to deep relationship nature and decolonizing  of personal, social and ecological well-being for 10 years. She is a widely respected amongst her community and believes in local communities with local economies as a way to find hope for the health of our planet and people.

She was raised in the Sydney, NSW, Australia and on a mission on her tribal lands. One foot in both worlds. Ella is the founder of the gather The Returning, which is a not for profit event, giving 70% of tickets to scholarship applicants and exchange applicants. The event was created our of Ella’s deep want to return to a time in her own linage where women would gather to trade, learn and skill share.
